Fluency means speaking easily, naturally and without having to stop and pause a lot.
1. speaks at length without noticeable effort or loss of coherence
比如,part 1 部分会问到:are you a student or working now?
I am a college student 或者 说 I am working in a restaurant.
I'm a college student, and now I am studying at Bow Valley College . I'm majoring in childcare program. To tell the truth I don't like it so much but it is said that students could find a job easily after graduation.
I am a college student,
2. may demonstrate language-related hesitation at times, or some repetition and/or selfcorrection
I'm a student, /a college student. /um, And now / I am studying at Bow Valley College,/ the Calgary downtown campus./ I'm now /majoring in childcare program./ Well, To tell the truth,/ I don't like it so much./but/ you know,/ it is said that/ students could find a job very easily after their graduation.
3. uses a range of connectives and discourse markers with some flexibility
connectives 指一些连接词,比如: however, therefore, because, so that等等; discourse markers指一些口语里器润滑剂的小词,甚至你可能认为是一些无用的废话,比如:well, you know, I mean, what I mean is, like等等。
Practice makes perfect.
